Meet Ryan: A Journey to Transformation Before coming to Arise Functional Health, Ryan was struggling with a normal crawling pattern, he was 4 months behind the milestone. His delay of crawling was impacting their ability to progress to standing and walking, leaving their family searching for answers.    

Initial Concerns: Finding Hope When Ryan first came to us, his parents were worried about what Ryans future would look like if he didn’t crawl with a normal pattern. His mother who is a Nurse Practitioner knew that importance of a normal crawling pattern and that there are long term potential cognitive side effects if a child doesn’t have a normal crawling pattern. She had already tried physical therapy, but progress was limited. They were looking for a more comprehensive solution that addressed the root causes of their child’s challenges.

His was a normal pattern and has allowed him to unlock more advanced skills such as beginning to try to walk and is able to transfer objects from one side of his body to the other with ease.
